The Bookshelf Project #18

This week's pictures of bookshelves are from Paul, a doctor from Suffolk UK. Here are two pictures, shot at different angles, of his gorgeous bookshelf.

I'm getting a very classic and homey vibe Paul's bookshelves. And that table with the chairs is just the perfect spot to have your coffee in the morning, don't you think?

Wow, I love the little table and chairs. The whole room seems to go perfectly together. It looks like either a study, or a den. If I had a den, it would look just like that, but throw pillows strewn on the floor though, in place of the cute table set.

That room looks very inviting. I can just see a red chair in the corner that would be perfect to curl up in with a good book!

There, again, is my first lust: floor-to-ceiling bookcases. It looks like the same old problem is about to occur, however: no more room for books.

@eye_spy: I think we all are jealous of Paul's bookshelves.

@Myckyee: Yes, it is very inviting.

@Charlie: Floor-to-ceiling bookshelves are the best!

How wonderful to have an entire wall of books! And I love the wall color...very elegant looking. Think there's a fireplace in there as well, so it's a perfect library!

Hi, Alexia! Yes, I love how elegant everything looks.

Hi, Simon! If I had a room such as this one, I doubt if I would have the courage to leave it!

OH wow....if I can believe my eyes, over in the corner of the brick, that appears to be a fireplace. If so, this is even more perfect than mine. I love the dark wood with the red walls, very elegant. Thanks again Peter for showing us how diverse we are.

Is it weird that I just drooled looking at the photos of that bookcase? Because I totally did. Just awesome.

We once lived in a Victorian house where we had one room fitted out as a study with made to measure bookshelves that looked just like Paul's. I still miss it ten years later!
