The Bookshelf Project #22

This week's pictures of bookshelves are from a fellow blogger -- Sheila of Book Journey. Sheila keeps one of the most updated book blogs that I know. And she has a lot of giveaways too!

Don't you just love it that the bookshelves are made of wood? Everything looks so orderly. Also, the shelf added near the ceiling maximizes the room space. Truly wonderful!

I can see that Sheila's reading preferences are diverse. She has everything from YA, thrillers, classics, and contemporary literary fiction. What do you think of Sheila's bookshelves, dear reader?

Just as orderly as can be, a bibliophile after my own heart. I notice two copies of some Harry Potter, but I couldn't find the rest. I also noted the glass-front bookcase is for religion.

Very, very nice, Sheila.

As I told Sheila earlier, I'm so jealous of the shelf that goes all the way around the room. Just wonderful.

Isn't Sheila fabulous and just so organised. I do love her shelf round the top of the room too.

These are great. I especially like the perimeter shelf, although I would probably need a stool to reach it! LOL

Sheila,
So lovely! Will you come over my house and do my shelves? Oh you have me looking up and around for more room.
I just love how books make a room feel. Your house feels very cozy to me.

Books here, books there, books everywhere :)

I do like the look of the wooden shelves, the somehow look more inviting than ever (didn't think that books needed enhancement but apparently they do lol!).

Peter S. said...

@SariJ: Yes, these are so lovely, right?

@lilly: I know! The wood material makes the shelves more inviting, more conducive to picking up books and reading them.

I did a guest blog feature on Sheila's shelves at my Potpourri blog awhile back, here: http://rainysnowday.wordpress.com/home/guest-bloggers/

But that was before the top shelf, which is fabulous!

Hi, Laurel-Rain Show! I love the top shelves, too!

I love Sheila's shelves, especially the one running around the top of the room. Next house, I want a reading room just like this!

Peter S. said...

Hi, Alexia! Those really maximize space, aside from making the room look fabulous!
