The Bookshelf Project #14

This week's bookshelf pictures from Alexia, a fellow blogger. Check out her wonderful book reviews here.

I think Alexia is a very eclectic reader, judging from the variety of her book collection. I just love looking at all those paperbacks! And these pictures somehow prove a point that wooden bookcases look fabulous.

What do you think of Alexia's bookshelves, dear reader?

Wow, that's a lot of books. Anytime I feel like I'm accumulating a lot of books all I need to do is look at Alexia's shelves and I feel better.

Yeah, she has wonderful bookshelves, and it looks as though shes not hurting in the book department either....:)

@Ryan G: Yes, she does have a lot of books. And it seems that when you visit her blog, she accumulates more and more of them!

@Krista: Wonderful bookshelves indeed. Simply fabulous. I'm green with envy.

@Jaime: I can't wait to see your bookshelves!

@Stephanie D: LOL! Me love gargoyles too.

Ohhhh Peter I have a post I did recently of my messy, messy, disorganized, discombobulated, insane.. okay, really not that bad but a mess of my bookshelves. It's somewhere! LOL

Oh and Alexia.. I see some Koontz behind the gargoyles! LOL.

being a booklover myself you'd think I'll get used to seeing this much books from a personal collection, it's like having your very own Booksale (a well loved bargain bookstore in the Ph) at home.

@Jaime: Those bookshelves are the most interesting, I think.

Kaye: Oh yes! The pictures remind of that bookstore!

Hey, Peter-
Checked out your hot author list. Well chosen, with Ethan Hawke being my choice for literary eye candy!

Hi, Stephanie D! Yes, he is. Too bad he's not as prolific as we'd want him to be.

Thanks for all of the nice comments! I'm embarrassed to admit that I have two more bookshelves not pictured (one with the rest of my Koontz collection), and could really use a seventh. Totally addicted to books! :D

Hi, Alexia! So you really are a Koontz fan!

The fact that you have a badge in your bookcase saying Words Best Aunt, is telling enough.

Hi, Crap Blog Detective! Thanks for dropping by.

Dear Crap Detective, that's a picture frame with my niece's picture in it, not a badge. And it was a gift, so of course I'm going to display it.

If that's "telling enough", hate to see what you'd think about the rest of my gargoyle collection! :p

A lot of books to be sure, but so neatly arranged!

I'm really catching on to your interest, or perhaps obsession, of showing peoples' bookshelves, Peter. It sure beats sneaking around in someone's trash or medicine cabinet!

Peter S. said...

@Charlie: LOL! I've always been obsessed about it. Thank goodness for blogging!

That is amazing all those books! And there is quite a range in the books for reading. Could I please stop by and borrow a few? lol. You have your on little library there Alexia.

Hi, Melissa! I've thought about raiding Alexia's bookshelves the first time I saw them!

I'll have to check out her blog. It looks like we enjoy many of the same books.
