The Bookshelf Project #13

This week's pictures of bookshelves are from Kaye, a fellow book blogger. Check out her wonderful book blog here. She has wonderful bookcases!

Her bookshelves look very homey, don't you think? The topmost photo shows her collection of YA books, and her collection's quite extensive!

Those artistic pieces found near the books (bottom photo) are just so wonderful. They add a personal touch to the bookshelves.

What do you think of Kaye's bookshelves and book collection, dear reader?

Are these from Kaye of Kaye's Book Blogs? You can tell from your site that she's a pretty organized person :)

@Mark David: Hi! I don't think so. This is from a fellow Filipino blogger.

@Amanda: Yes, they are!

I like 'em. They look like they are homemade, which is very cool.

Those are great! I always want to see personal items interspersed with books. To me, they belong together. Books are friends, and having other knick-knacks and pictures makes them even more personal.

Nothing more boring than sterile bookshelves stuffed with books that look like nobody ever touches them--these show lots of love!

They look absolutely jam packed. Fabulous book shelves.

Nice layout. Mine shelves are a haphazard mess... gonna buy some nice, sturdy, quirky ones as soon as I can round up the dough...

@C. B. James: They do look like they're homemade.

@Tina: Lots of love indeed.

@Viviene: The YA collection is truly extensive.

@David Wagner: I can't wait to see your bookshelves.

Hey Peter, thanks for posting it. I'm glad you guys liked it. My dad is very fond of woodworks/crafts so he had it made for my room, the beads were my idea =].

Hi, Kaye! Thank you for sharing these with me!

She has a beautiful house! I love all the wood. The first photo almost looks like a brick fireplace was converted into bookcases.

HI, Lya! I love all the woodwork too!

those are lovely bookshelves, unluckily for me, i need to choose a bookshelf that's high enough so a next flooding or typhoon wont get them. and its too small,that i have to sell some. anyway, i like the homey looking bookshelf
