Sorry, full review later

And the biggest disappointment of the year (at least for me) is this book:

After reading it, I couldn't help but think -- WTF! I won't review it yet, since a lot of you haven't even finished the book. Who knows? Maybe someone will convince me to re-read it and have a different view of it altogether later on.

@caite: I guess it's one of those books that you either love or hate.

@Orly: LOL!

Ha, ha Peter!! I thought exactly the same as you after finishing the book..."WTF!" I can't believe this crap! I so enjoyed the first two that I bought this the day it came out. So much senseless death and the ending....don't get me started. I wouldn't waste my time reading this again.

OMG! I love you, Mrs. B!!! Hehehe. That's exactly my problem with this book!

I haven't started with this one yet (too busy with Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld - I feel like an artista plugging a book instead of a stylist or something). Too much conflicting emotions from fans of the book make me want to shelve it for a future read even if I started with just that first page or so: Katniss visiting District 12 and finding that perfect rose from the rubble (or something - I skimmed, hahaha).

@Lightheaded: LOL! In my case, I wanted to read it so that I can get it over with. Hehe.

Biggest disappointment could be the biggest understatement of the year.

After making me read 1,100 pages Suzanne Collins gives me that kind of ending? What the bloody eff! I mean, sure, it's honest and real. But it's supposed to be YA Science FICTION, for crying out loud! I was denied of my fantasy ending after investing so much into the story :(

Hi, Janise! We should meet up soon so that we can talk about this whole series.

I finished my copy on monday and I am still working on the review. I enjoyed the book, but it left me feeling as I want more. I will try to expand on it in my review. :) But I am not a 5 but not as low as a 2 or 3. I don't know. And that is in part why I am taking my time with the review and the spoiler thing. I don't want to give anything away.

Yeah, it was lacking for me too. But overall, I enjoyed the series and bummed it's over. --btw, found you from Filipino Book Bloggers and I'm now a new follower. Come by and visit me some time and perhaps you can follow my blog as well.

Take good care!

@Melissa: Yes, I will definitely postpone my review of Mockingjay for at least one more week.

@Jinky: Thanks for dropping by!

I kinda liked it. I thought it was really sad how Katniss and Gale's friendship ended.
