It's interesting ...Oh this ought to be good :)<br /><br />It's interesting what you say that with McEwan, something bad is bound to happen. I never thought of his works that way. Perhaps it's because I've only read 3 of his magnificent works so far. But I think you're right, it does seem like so now that I think about it. I guess for me I never gave that detail any particular note since the traditional literary format makes it almost a requirement that something bad happens so that the hero can have something meaningful to do for the rest of the story ;) In any case, McEwan seems to never fail in presenting his stories in an absorbing fashion, may they be traditional or not :)Mark Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00191881042368314958noreply@blogger.com
