My other obsession

I can't get enough of paper. I need paper in a way that I need air and food. Come to think of it, I may have a paper fetish. Kinky!

So my other obsession, aside from books, also has something to do with paper. It's those gorgeous Moleskine notebooks.

As you can see, I'm partial to black. But this year, they came out with different colors for their planners. I did wish that they came out with an orange one. I would've loved that.

Now if only these notebooks weren't so pricey. If they were reasonably priced, I would use them for their actual purpose. As it is, I just write my name on the first page. That's about the only ink that will get on these pages.

Kinky!

I feel you! I don't own a Moleskine notebook; but if I do, I know that I wouldn't write on it either.

Kinkiness is natural. You see, I design, print and bind my own journal. (>‿◠)✌

I'd like to have a Moleskine notebook as well if only for the fact that it is Hemingway's notebook of choice.:D

And other writers too!

I don't actually own a Moleskin notebook - I can't for the life of me figure out how that is given that, like my mother before me, I have a thing for notebooks - particularly ones with blank pages rather than lined... I do have a large line of black bound, hardcover visual diaries on my desk in which I've journaled for years on and off - writing and drawing. I have hand-made, leather-bound notebooks, and any number of other books that I find in the oddest places! It's in the genes - someday I'll write a post about my mother's notebooks - all of which I have packed in a box in my wardrobe. I just need to be brave enough to get them all out - they're part diaries, and part annotations from her reading over the years. Quite a treasure, and a huge resource...

Hello, Kaz. I, on the other hand, prefer lined notebooks to blank pages. I can't wait to read your post about your mother's notebooks!

I've never had a Moleskine for the sole reason that they're pricey. Perhaps if someone would gift me with one? *hint hint* Hahaha! :D

I also hope that people would take the hint! My birthday's coming up!

I used the Peanuts Moleskine for my reading journal last year. I managed to use it until August. :D

It's very nice, no? Don't you just love the feel of the cover!

Kinky indeed. Haha.

Yung mga barkada ko kapag galing ibang bansa, alam na nila na notebook ang ibibigay sa akin na pasalubong :)

I have two more blank Moleskines that I haven't used. I don't know if I'll use them anytime soon. Ah, I remember those times when I'd get them shipped from HK since they're cheaper, but now I find other notebooks that are just as good. I'm quite fond of Muji notebooks, too. :) Oh, and have you tried the Peter Pauper Press notebooks? They don't have the black/plain designs of Moleskines, but they have pretty nice paper. :)

I'll try those, Tina! Thanks so much for the heads up on the Peter Pauper Press notebooks!
